Earthquake 6.9 in Baja California

LOS ANGELES – A strong earthquake of 6.9 magnitude jolted the state of Baja California (northwest Mexico) and was felt as far as southern California (USA), said the American Institute of Geophysics (USGS).
The quake occurred at 22h40 GMT at a depth of 32.3 km and was located 26 km south-southwest of Guadalupe Victoria and 64 km southwest of San Luis (U.S. State of Arizona), the USGS said.
